Any European dealer recommendations? (1 Viewer)

We are planning to buy a LHD Hymer and have decided the best way to buy this is in Europe.

I have read various threads on the forum and I wondered if anyone has personal recommendations of dealers they have used to do this, Germany or Belgium?

Thanks Jumartoo, lots of useful information on importing on the thread you linked to. We are looking for recent recommendations of contacts at dealers in Germany or Belgium.

Particularly anyone who has a dealer who is happy to do the deal without paying VAT in Germany/Belgium.

About VAT in Germany, I had to pay it, but when you can prove VAT is paid in th UK you will have German VAT refunded. Hope this will help.

Palmowski in Bielefeld were excellent.

I bought from them a year ago.

Julien there guided me through all the export processes and they do some amazing custom packages for Hymers!

On the UK side I worked with mycarimport who were brilliant too and I don't think I could have done it without them. I think type approvals are even more complicated now.

Palmowski have a lot of experience dealing with Brits, Bielefeld was a BFG garrison town, I lived just up the road. Never bought from them as they didn't have what I was after but heard good things about them.
