This little aire is a real gem if no one already knows it
Especially useful for any first timers to France that perhaps are nervous about using aires for the first time or for that matter driving on the continent. It is a nice one hour drive from the Calais port or chunnel.
It is in the aires book as Embry N 50 deg 29.717 min E001 deg 57.953 mins and costs 6 euros per night It has a beautiful picnic area, first class toilets showers large enough for both of you to use at once, for 1 Jetton, available from a machine on site, and views to die for with deer in the distance and lots of bird life
The washroom and showers have sachets of shampoo etc just like a posh hotel
Just one word of warning make sure you have sufficient food on board as there are no shops around or bars for that matter.
Oh and another if you have a long overhang enter off the metalled road with a little care
