Update -Nothing has been touched since the last update :D I have been promised the doors on last Monday, Wednesday and Thursday/Friday but still have not got them -I managed to source some grey carpet to change from the blue but not even got motivated to even pull the blue off so nothing has been done :(but we have got lots done on Paul's van in the 3 days we have worked on it (y) see Paul's boxer thread http://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/pauls-self-build-boxer.111023/#post-1463670

I have doors :DPicked them up friday night but worked on Paul's boxer all day Saturday and a couple of hours today -But then we did 4 hours on the relay and got some cover trims done finished sealing the loo/shower -Paul wired up my outside light and then we cracked on and hung all the doors and drawer fronts only leaving 5 handles and catches on the upper cupboards for me to finish on Monday/tues/weds if I find time :DAll in all perfectly usable (y) so I can start and put some stuff into cupboards etc once the catches are on --Got to get a microwave and fit it in then Paul has got to make one of the 12v sockets permanently live for me to charge phone etc -at the moment they only come on with ignition -Now got to see if O'leary's have the waste water tanks in yet if not I am thinking of putting a simple 5 gallon tank /drum on each side of the van for sink and shower waste -means either coupling them together or two empting taps :D
Redone the foam in the rear cushions from High density to reflex foam -it's a little softer to lay on -Trouble is now my garage is getting full of foam cushions :(:D

It looks all finished (y)but I am going to box in under both driver and passenger seats and I cannot make my mind up as to box in the slide bed bit -Think I will do it and see if I like it (y):D If not I'll think of something else after all I have done most of the van twice so why stop at a little boxing in :D

Update -Tuesday I spent about 5 hrs on the van and got all the upper locker handles /catches on,then boxed in the pull across bed frame in (y)I need to point out that I used a hand screwdriver and not a battery drill on the catches/stays etc 8 x 6 in total :DIt was pointed out to me last night by Paul that I have a small Bosch drill on my kitchen W.Top for just such occasions :(:rolleyes: Daft thing is I move it almost daily
Anyway another first this morning I have wired (yes me;))up a light or should that be 3? No doubt Paul will laugh bit you turn each light on and off and they all work (y):)(nothing to this wiring lark)simply connect wires to wires and it's done Paul tells me it's the knowing which wires go together so on that bit of info I will go back to leaving wires to him ;)-After this coffee break I am going to start clearing out the van ready to pack for H/Pool (y)
