lpg on the nc500 (1 Viewer)

Hi Funsters.
Heading up to-morrow from lochgelly to start the NC500 anti-clockwise I see there is a few garages for diesel but what about filling up with LPG.

Two places that I have used regularly on the A9 are Skiach services near Evanton, and Evelix Service Station near Dornoch.

As far as I recall there used to be one in Wick and another in Ullapool, not too much call for LPG north of Glasgow/Edinburgh.

Unless you are planning to take more than 2 weeks for the trip provided you start off full you shouldn't need a top up, or have you got very small tanks?

There is also one on Skye about 4 miles in-its not advertised on the roadside but there is autogas available -forget I the garage name but its a big service station and cheaper than most

Broadford, still had LPG a couple of months ago.

we have found most Shell garages have autogas, Oban, Inverness, Elgin, Peterhead and Aberdeen to name a few and we have used them over the last 2 years
