Wilding near Newhaven

Going to visit my son who's just moved to Newhaven. The original idea was to stay on his drive which he thought was going to be ok. It now seems that as the drive is sloping,2ft difference between front and end over 7yds I don't think my Fiamma levellers will cope.
So does anybody know of any nice wilding spots near Newhaven for the coming weekend.
