We're just entering Murcia & would like to buy wine direct from a vineyard (as you do in France) but not sure where there are any in the region - any suggestions? :) cheers (hopefully)

Do you want to buy bottles, boxes or direct (decanted into milk bottles or whatever you can find, etc.)

:D happy to empty into empty water bottles! :D - got to think about the weight of bottles, used to buying in boxes

Most towns have a "bodega" (or more than one). As already said, Jumilla. But there is also a small wine producing area in Bullas.

Since we left Totana, we've found a bodega in Puerto de Mazarron where we're buying 5 litre boxes (they last longer:LOL:) of young Jumilla wine (very nice) for under €8.

Like your style  it needs to be without flour (unless its cornflour/gram flour or the like) he's ok with plain dishes, tortilla is usually ok, he loves seafood, cant have bread but ok with olives, chorizo etc x

Thanks for the link - will be checking it out for sure ! xx

You can buy a 3 litre plastic bottle of gin . Not tried it myself ... yet!

I cropped the screenshot to show a possible parking area on the left above the bodega.

When we were there on a Friday (fish n chips) the guy who looked like he'd eaten a lemon on my photo had fish without batter. (Other meals are available). So I think they can accommodate diets to a certain extent
