Mine's a collection of plastic and nylon bags/sacks that had sheets, sleeping bags, pillow cases in. I'll probably never have a use for them but, even after a clear out when we found we were overweight, I still had to put them back in the cupboard.....just in case!! :roflmto:

I’ve got those as well. …. You never know when you might need them:rofl:

For me it is the person who has more degrees' than a thermometer and has motorhomed with me for 30 years but still does not know which corner to watch for me as I turn or reverse. Many years of coaching and training has led to nothing, but would not be without them and they don't read this forum, hence my bravery.

A BIG bag of shoes between us.

The TV.
Never use it.
Our van came with a TV. After a year, we hadn't used it, so I removed it, stuck a piece of sheet steel up instead and it's now a magnet board. Then earlier this year, I replaced the TV aerial with a 5G antenna and powered the new router with the supply the TV signal booster was using.

Something we never use is all the dozens of pairs of different types of shoes my wife brings. Wellies, walking boots, slippers, slip-ons, water shoes, sandals and several pairs of trainers. Then wears the same pair of trainers all holiday.

After a trip I have a look at what we carried, if wasn't used, I ask myself why not , will ever use it.?
If not then it is removed..
Case in point, we carried a wind break all over France this year and never used it.. it's now in the shed.
However, what we carry depends on where we are going.. so each trip you have to decide what you need and what is excess baggage .. w/e trips need less than a month away

To answer the OP question..

10x50 binoculars .. can't recall the last time I used them.
Camera tri-pod.. likewise ..

Loving this thread. As new motorhomers (only had ours for a year), every time we get ready to go somewhere we (I) seem to pack stuff we may never need - just in case. I will say though - it is amazing how many times my hubby has said "I don't suppose you packed so and so?" to which I am mostly able to reply "yes actually"
