Hi all, we are English ex pats living in Bulgaria for the past 6 years. We are now thinking of selling our home in Bulgaria and travelling full time with a MH to visit other parts of europe.

I understand if we buy a mh anywhere in europe we can register and put BG plates on it and travel up to 6 months in any country with no problems. we would then have to pay annualy only those taxes due in Bulgaria and have it MOT'd here and insured from here.
However Im not sure if it requires a permenant address?
Our drivers liscense is still UK and has our old address written on which our son now resides.
Not owning a property sounds a bit daunting to drive off into the sunset as it were and wondered if anyone can shed any light on the legalities of 'going it fulltime'

Also how do people manage with clothing? where does everyone store there possesions in a MH or does everyone sell up and keep the minamal of clothing etc?

What is the minimum income you think we should have to allow us to make this adventure happen?
How do you get around them problem of gas bottles and regulators in difereent countries?
These are only a few of the many questions we have but we have a low income and wish to know the best way to proceed.
Many thank for any help you can give us

I think it would be best to buy, register and insure a motorhome in UK, as your son lives at your old address. you can then use that address for all documentation, as you do need an address to make things easier. I think some people use a Poste restant or similar, but we used a friends address when we full timed. As for possessions - storage is expensive, so we sold nearly all our stuff and then bought second hand when we resettled. Hope this helps! Also, welcome to the forum! If you want answers to lots of questions, and masses of support, the £15 subscription is well worth it in my opinion!

Wow lots of question, well all I know for sure is that you are not going to find all the answers in the 5 free posts you are allowed so you will need to join the forum which at £15 annually is a bargain to be honest.
