We are about to do a tunnel crossing for the first time in 2 1/2 years but are a little confused about documentation. I am assuming that we only need proof of full vaccination. Does this need to be printed or is displaying them on our phones enough? Is the NHS app ok or do we need to have the French one and transfer our Covid pass to that (however that is done!). If we have downloaded the Covid passes to the Eurotunnel sote do we need to present them in a physical form (phone or paper). We don't want to get held up at the border because we are ill prepared. It's enough to worry about what we've got in the fridge without worrying about documents. I'm assuming that coming back is like what it was before (apart from making sure we get our passports stamped).

No, the docs on your phone are fine, and also uploaded to the tunnel site are fine too.

I wasnt even asked for mine personally, a month or so ago

Eurotunnel will advise you on the requirements.

Just returned from 25 days in France and no docs asked for at either end other than passports. The customs did look in the garage and toilet for stowaways but not interested in food in freezer/fridge
