Believe it or not but it was blue skies and sunny on my drive from Aberdeenshire to Edinburgh earlier today.

But do you know what I miss? Driving with my arm out the window on a nice sunny day.

You're just a bit too far away from the window in an A class and it's too small a window anyway.

Small thing but I really miss it. Anything else people miss from previous vans?

Proper sprung upholstery. My van has pretty good foam but not as good as the sprung seating In my last British van. I also miss the cooker. My current van has a teeny oven with grill…blooming rubbish.

Hi.
The Renault Master PVC. It could allways feel........................ " The need for Speed " :ROFLMAO:
:ROFLMAO: Whereas. The Fiat Ducato PVC is Comfy and tries its best bless her, but has yet to achieve " Mega Warp speed factor 11." One plus is though,it has a fine Agricultural engine/exhaust burble,so the sound track is OK.(y)
Tea Bag.

I miss twin slideouts and a real paint finish.

Our ambulance is a Renault master, and I used to drive Renault traffics at work, I had been used to ldv and transits, wow the traffic was just in a new world, I would be doing 90 up the a50 before I had chance to look at the Speedo, the master isn't quite that fast but it is pulling a fair bit of weight, but cruising at eighty is no problem to it, and it turns in 34 mpg all the time whether flat out on the motorway or piddling around at 50.
Saying this I have to add I had two traffics just stop on me with no warning and wanting a new engine.
And it's always at the back of my mind when roaring down motorways with no hard shoulder.

Not missed from previous MHs, because this is our first, but a second garage door might be nice. I might book N&B for a chainsaw job when we are next near Polch. It does not need to be full-size, just to get access to some small items without having to clamber bent double to the back of the garage.

I miss the ability to go almost anywhere, and not worry about getting stuck or damage.

I also miss having a long comfy sofa to chill out on. I've got a hate/hate relationship with the small L shaped sofa in my Hymer.

The back cushions kinda push you off, it's not long enough, you can't get your knees under the table and the cushions slide about eveywhere.

The old one in my Talbot was perfect. I miss that. Don't miss all the water that used to come in right enough.

Miss the fully moveable table. The moveable table in new van was replaced with a fixed one by previous owner and its hopeless too small and in the way. Still trying to locate an Ilse leg but they wont post from Germany.

Our first "van" , a 1990 Elddis Autostratus, had a stable door which we still miss.
The van I mention on this thread was a Elddis Autostratus on a Talbot. '93 if I recall! Great van, perfect layout for me but it leaked like hell. Yeah I miss the stable door too.

Isn't that the problem with nearly all fwd dinette vans.

I miss
The driving position of my vw T6 compared to the peugeot boxer ergonomic beasty.
Dont miss anything else about though sizewise!
