Hi has anyone used this on the roof to get rid of the green stuff or would you not recommend .

Nooooooooooo! Too acidic for the van roof or any vehicle, I wouldn't even think about using anything other than a good brand car shampoo (Low PH) or similar, might just need a couple of goes, but it will take off all the green stuff with a bit of elbow grease.
Use a good (maybe a few) microfibre cloths not a sponge if you want to make short of it, apply loads of warm soapy water, rinse off, all done.
I have to do ours, but will wait for better weather, as it was covered in thick ice the last few nights.
Good luck.

For difficult stains etc, then I use G101, Multi Purpose Cleaner. It's used extensively in the motor trade.

I've found it very versatile. Use it on the exterior, interior, carpets, upholstery, just dilute to the required strength.

Not to get rid of the green stuff necessarily but to prevent it taking hold through the year. I have used it after washing and waxing the roof which is basically how it is meant to be used and it works well in terms of keeping the green stuff away. I know others who use it on vans and boats without any issues so not sure about other comments regarding it being unsuitable . . .

Can advise that given previous posts about it's Efficational properties, Have used it with absolute success to prevent the ghastly green slime on the MH roof. After 3 winters the roof is green free.

Thinking of a trial on the patio

Sorry Guys, I thought it was a patio type mildew/moss remover that can be sprayed on and left, it would seem the wet & forget is entirely different stuff.
I will go now & sit in the corner.
