What's people's experience with the weather in Asturias, Galicia and Northern Portugal around September and into October?

We were at Santiago, Finesterra & Ponteverdo area. 14-24 September and we got between 29c and 22c day time temperatures, no rain, but then we fell lucky.

Galicia is the rainiest place in Spain. August is the least rainy month, and the rainy season begins in September and worsens in October, with November being the wettest month.
The same goes for temperatures, but in reverse.
Very similar in Asturias.

Getting progressively unsettled as Summer departs with Autumn weather systems take control..
You are asking about a vast area, you can avoid the worst of the rain by moving around...but to give a general picture would be virtually impossible and relying on what happened last year isn't a reliable source for this.
We are in Asturias and experiencing some really hot weather inland, but 20km north you can take 15°c off the daytime temperature..
Geographically a Atlantic coastline with high mountains, a mixed bag of conditions...
A big advantage of travelling in this area is the ability to escape SE on a Free motorway into warmer/Dryer conditions.
