Water pump (1 Viewer)

Out in MH yesterday and found that the water pump is not working. Did all the obvious checks but still not working. The casing of the pump was warm so I imagine there is power but some how the mechanism is jammed? Any advice? Or is it a new pump needed?

If it is a submersible pump see if you can free the impeller, they sometimes jamb. If it is a pressure pump then perhaps give it a gentle thump to see if it can be freed. Sorry not sure this helps, hopefully someone else will be along shortly who knows more about pumps than I do.

Buy a new one, fit it and then investigate old one. IF you can fix it, you have a spare.

PS. Make certain you have water in tank and the drain down taps are closed in first outing since winter.
