Cut our teeth now……so just above useless!
Hi,
I’ve been looking on the net for a water filler cap with built in connector for the hose.
Can anybody confirm a brand or let me know where to get one?
Cheers

Have we a “forum”version that suits?
Here
Depends how quickly you need it.
The one made by a funster member is waiting for parts for the production model 😜

That’s a neat solution.
So, if I understand the words & pics, you just push the hose through the hose stop and it’s gripped in place?
Only this from Minxy Girl looks a simpler DIY method.

Yes, it grips as you describe. Also, it's self ventilating which I don't think the Heoswater one is. However, that doesn't matter if your tank has an efficient ventilation system.

Agree, Minxy Girl solution is pretty good at virtually zero cost (y)

Would this work with a lay flat hose?

Basically no. But I use a short length of normal hose, say 50cm, and then connect that to my lay-flat hose. This avoids kinks in the flat hose. Kinks in the lay-flat hose are to be avoided as this can put extra pressure on the hose and lead to pinhole leaks (been there, got the t-shirt), haha !!!

I bought an excellent version from our Funster chums PaulandChrissy. They also have a number of water filling / cap removal solutions that may interest you. Top class stuff. See the Classifieds for details
