I have heard it raised a few times that posting updates on where you are in the world on T'internet can have an impact on your home insurance i.e. if you tell the world you're not there and you're burgled they may not pay out.

With the plethora of Youtube MoHo/Vanlife VLOGgers that there now seems to be, I wondered if anyone had actually discovered the facts surrounding this?
 
Some major insurers say they don’t look at claimants social media, while some have said they do. All policies will have wording that states something like we must take reasonable care to keep our property safe. So it’s something we should consider.

If it’s something you are worried about Ralph stay of Faceache and Twitter where real names are used and I would change your name (or at least lose the surname) and Avatar so you become more anonymous here
