Via Verde Transponder

Via Verde site says behind mirror for cars and bottom of windscreen for lorries. Does The "beetle brow" overscreen locker justify fixing transponder at bottom of windscreen? I have it already but don't want to put behind mirror if the overhang will stop it working properly.

My sanef tag was not good at the top of the screen moving it to the bottom works much better. It now just sits in dash top pocket.
