Van Conversion
The carpet lining on the walls of my van are disintegrating and making the van very dusty. Any suggestions please?

Replace it all? Have a look at CarpetRrite. They will also stock heavy duty spray carpet glue.

Harrison trim sell 4 way stretch carpet, and insulation too, you can get a sample swatch pack from them. They also stock the spray adhesive

What’s behind the wall carpet? Might be worth upgrading the insulation too but it is a job and a half 🥴

Had the same problem, like sand falling, so when I re carpeted the floor I also did the walls and ceiling and other bare wood panels under the seats.

It's a commercial grade rubber backed polyester corded carpet... very hard wearing stain resistant and easy to clean.. I bought an end of roll from a carpet shop, £130..

Did you remove original carpet or just stick onto it

Not the biggest fan of carpet on wall etc but if you are going with it then 4 way stretch is the best and easiest to do - don’t just use any spray adhesive get Heavy duty heat resistant stuff. I cannot remember the name but there is a place in Dewsbury that makes van mats and sell the 4way stretch carpet by the Meter or full roll that’s cheaper than anywhere else I found by far. Simply pull off the old, vacuum all the crap then cut your carpet to a rough size and spray both wall and back of carpet, stick in place and trim. You can easily pull it off to reposition if you get it wrong but don’t leave it to long 👍
