Van Conversions Advice

Hi, we are retired in France & have sold our Hymer all being well. We want a VW or Merc LHD Auto conversion with WC like their Marco Polo. Any advice or recommendations on where we might get what we want in UK? Suspect it may be cheaper to get one from UK. Thanks, Roger.

We had some quotes & info from Rob https://www.campersales.co.uk/about/ with regards to two Westfalia models for us & some friends but our friends ended up importing from Germany saving around 17% for a high spec. & we also imported but a Globecar. If we had wanted to buy a Westfalia in UK then they would have been our choice of dealer as they have a long track record of happy & returning customers & seemed fair in all our dealings. Westfalia do now have some VW & Mercedes based van conversion options.

There have been reports on here that it is difficult to get a motorhome bought in the UK registered in France. I suspect others may be along who know more about that.
