Update on Canterbury MH facilities at their P+Rs

I have been in contact with the Parking Facilities Manager at Canterbury, who I have previously met to discuss MH needs.

The planned facility for the Wincheap P+R, accessed via the new A28 slip road at the A28, has now been postponed, understandably because of the financial strain put on LAs by COVID.

The MH facility at New Dover Road is still operational and there is access to the overflow area beyond the exclusive MH parking on the left.

i could never see the need for it theres more than enough room at canterbury i do how ever think there should be a limit on length of stay as the last two visits some weeks apart weve seen the same vans in the same spot

I think they are the 2 full timers allowed to stay at the onset of the virus. There is a limit either 2 or 3 days.

i spoke to one of them early april and he had just returned from spain when his time ran out and he is going to sit it out there for 90 days if he can so he can return
