Unmarked speed camera vans Devon/Cornwall.

The ones used in our area are even more sneaky. There is just a small hole, large enough for the camera lens, cut into the rear door of the van. You do not notice it until you are almost passing. Of course if you are driving at the correct speed you have a greater chance of spotting the camera quicker. You also avoid a fine !!! 😉

On the A19 last week, an old battered looking silver/grey transit. Get a bit closer and its full of blue led lights and two police officers.
Way to sneak up on the bad ones using phones.

There were a couple of marked speed camera vans on the A30 in Devon and Cornwall last week. Also a few unmarked police cars.

The Dutch are more canny.

Lincolnshire regularly use unmarked hgv vehicles up and down A1 to catch no seat belts, phone use etc.

I once had a speeding ticket from a policeman who was hiding behind a wall with just his camera peeping over the top of the wall.
Been there, done that 😜 we used to have a lot of fun with the old Vascar car radar guns in the 70s locking the gun on a passing Jumbo jet ir something similar and then stopping a blond for speeding and showing her locked in at 250MPH or more. I got a few dates with that stunt 🥳🥳🥳

Sneeky sneeky sneeky.
I was pinged from just under half a mile away a few weeks back.
60 limit down to a 30. Guilty as charged. I was doing 35 so looks like a speed awareness course.
Robbing shits.
Despite what they say . There for revenue not to deter.
