I have twice experienced an unexplained load audible warning which seems to come from the rear of our motorhome - probably from the Sargent Control Panel - though I cant be sure. BEEP BEEP BEEP - SPACE - BEEP BEEP BEEP - SPACE ETC.. This is louder than the fridge warning which we hear from time to time. There does not seem to be any information anywhere - i dont think this is a Fiat Ducato issue as i presume that any engine warnings would come from the front not the rear. It must be something to do with the habitation. This happened one hour into journey so nothing to do with step being down, mains cable connected etc.
Wife was driving at time and i made a quick trip to the back but all i could see was EC467 control panel with both lights flashing to indicate normal battery charging.
After pressing a few buttons at random the warning stopped - this either as a result of my actions or becasue it wanted to.

Does anyone have any ideas?. We are reatively new to MOHO world and we are still getting to grips with the audible warnings

It could be the waste tank warning coming on. I have had that if there is a small amount of water in the tank it sets off the sensor. With our last Burstner we just turned off the panel when drive to stop this happening

thanks - good thinking.
I thought it sounded louder than the tank warnings though but that might be becuase i am a bag of nerves when any audio warnings go off when we are moving.
also - i had just emptied the tank an hour before - just before we set out.
ditto the thetford - if there is an audible alarm on that.
next time it happens I will switch the panel off - perhaps its a false warning caused by a bump in the road and the talk full coming on (clutching at straws here!?)

I've had the fire alarm go off for no apparent reason other than the drivers window is down. Swift tend to mount the fire alarm near the control panel.

To the best of my knowledge Sargent panels switch off on start up. Things like tank level warnings don't occur. Tried on ours and you can't get any warnings to sound except for step closing beep.

Ours does this every day at 2.41 PM. The previous owners set an alarm on the control panel, and I haven't found out how to delete it yet. It only goes for about a minute.

Thanks for that. I think you have nailed it !!. I have just pressed the test on the smoke alarm and the noise corresponds exactly with what we heard. For some reason our smoke alarm must have gone off as we were driving. I had the top vent open slightly so maybe a bit of external smoke or dust. Though I couldnt smell anything. Glad I held back on calling Sargent now.

thanks all - case closed(I think)

It is probably telling you that its battery needs changing.

yes we do - is that likely to be relevent though?
I had strange beeping coming from mine not long after getting it. Took a while to find that there was a little black box fitted to the towbar electrics that had gone wrong and beeped.
