Hymer ML-T 580 4x4

Newbie
Any Hymer ML-T 580 4x4 owners on here that would care to comment on their tyres? Seems it comes standard with summer tyres so I wondered how people are getting on with these traction-wise and/or whether any owners have changed tyres and can advise what they changed to and whether they stuck with the 235/65/R16's or if they upped or downsized?

If you are looking for a 4x4 AT type tyre you will probably need to go to a 22/70 or 225/75 profile , as
65 profile seem only for vans, plenty of all season and winter available in 65 tho , but basically a road type tread only .

As with all 4x4, it really depends on what you are wanting to do. Eg;. I had a Shogun, which we used to tow a 21ft Twin axle caravan. When I was doing Rally Marshalling, we used a lot of "raw" fields as rally venues. The original tyres where far more suited to Sand than Mud. ( the first owner had been a Boat owner). I changed them for a Tyre far more suited to Grass and mud, (can`t remember make etc, is near 30year ago now) on the recomendation of a local tyre man. One of the things I found different was the Road Noise. which became much more intrusive?.

Thanks PeteH. Leaning towards an all-season type of tyre as the van is never going to be a hard-core off road vehicle. Hoping to hear from owners on the traction they've experienced on whatever type of tyre they have when coming off a wet grassy pitch for example rather than a trek across the Sahara.

I've got the Hymer ML-T 570 2x4
So watching this one with interest

whilst i don't have the OP vehicle, i have a Ducato PVC & i have gone to Michelin Cross climates - not CP specific - but Van tyre - i know this has been the subject of conversation before -yes they are not CP specific, but as far as i care - as long as they have the correct load rating, they will be fine
assuming you are not going serious off-roading, they have a good meaty tread and are full winter complant. with the three-peak-mountain with snowflake (‘3PMSF’) symbol
they are available on https://www.blackcircles.com/order/tyres/search?width=235&profile=65&rim=16 in the OP size of 235/65/R16 (load rating 115)
