I have an Autotrail Delaware which is a 2014 (x290) Fiat Ducato base, this has alloy wheels and i know there is a concern about fitting the Tyrepal Sensors to certain valve types. Does anyone know if ours is suitable to take such a system as the valves on our tyres look metal but not sure to be honest.

I have the tyrepal system already as originally used it on the hydratrail only but that is now sold so thought i might use it on the MH and a trailer when i get it?

No problem at all
Whether alloy of steel wheels it's still a steel valve and the sensor simply replaces the dust cap

Great thanks, sure i read in the manual about it shouldnt go on a certain type of valve, i will sort this out then
Thanks

Not sure what type of valve the instructions mentioning this refer to, but provided you've got proper metal valves - which you should have given the high pressures m/h tyres run on - there's no problem with TyrePal. Works okay on mine.

Can't use them with aluminium valve stems.

That was it, i am assuming from previous posts that the 2014 fiat ducato doesn't have them.
I doubt you would find any commercial vehicle with aluminium valves

Thanks, good to know as i have no idea about these things.I brought the Motorhome version of tyrepal over a year ago but have only ever used 2 sensors from it for the hydratrail thinking i couldnt use them. What a fool :(

Thanks anyway, i will fit these later, probably find they dont work now lol.
