I've been using cheapo Chinese ones for a few years now, they work fine.

Had 2 sets. Both failed after a year
How did they fail as I have had 2 sets fail that I use on the cars but I have managed to fix them both. The one I have for the motorhome which is a larger unit as it monitors up to 10 wheels I think or maybe more has not put a foot wrong in 5 years.

The issue with the ones on the car were both solar units where they both stopped wanting to turn on. Took them apart removed the solar connection to the panel as I don't need this anyway as the units are always powered when ignition is on. I also replaced the batteries in them and now they are both working again. Maybe worth replacing the batteries if your issue is similar to mine

Tried two Amazon alternative brands. All crap and nasty

Went back to Tyrepal, all good. (Left a set on last MH )

Tyrepal are not without their problems but I wouldn't be without them after catching a slow puncher on one of the motorhome tyres couple years ago. Could have been costly if not spotted till the wheel was flat. There are a few cheaper alternatives though but I have personally not tried them.

If you have an Android based "infotainment" system in the cab, you can get a nice TPMS system that links into that rather than having a seperate little screen.
That is the type I use and I like it (and hate lots of displays all over the place).

I have Tyrepal non solar which I bought off a member in the classifieds and works well, charge it 2-3 times a year and had no problems.
Currently there is a solar version on eBay sitting at £42.00
