Trusted Fiat commercial garage in Midlands

I will be needing my 1st service in May 2021 and more immediately deal with a recall on my Ducato conversion.
Has anybody had a good experience with Fiat Professional garages in the area.
One name that has cropped up is Guest Truck and Van at West Bromwich.
Any help or comment would be appreciated.

Guests have places in West brom and also Wolverhampton. Used the wolves one a few years ago for my Autotrail services, no issues just the price being a main dealer. Used to use west brom for my small fleet of Iveco vans.
On new vans they don't really need a 1 year service, see the fiat camper website ref mileage and service intervals. Recall I guess you can get done any time, no real need to wait for having a service at same time unless that's what you want to do.

Thanks for the reply, 2021 will be 2 years since 1st registered, so I'm right there.
I figured the recall gave me a chance to check them out and remind myself of the general area.
I get the impression folks steer clear of main dealers (or stealers as us VW owners call them)
That being the case perhaps I should focus on firms who know and can handle Fiat commercials.
I see your Cannock, who do you use and would you recommend them.

Depends what needs doing - we automatically rang our nearest Fiat Pro garage fairly nearish to our house for something or another we knew it was there and fully operational cos it's on the same turn off the A444 as George Eliot Hospital. However we discovered pdq they don't have a 4-post ramp to lift anything all tall as a moho!

Hence since then we've always taken it to the nearby Peugeot Commercial place not very far from there! - and been perfectly happy with prices and the work.

Is around Nuneaton of any help, not knowing where on earth in the Midlands you happen to be? If so obviously we can tell you where I'm on about.

Hey. That's a great tip. Did not consider that as an option, Fiat and Peugeot's Ducato and Boxer are both built at the same factory in Italy.
I'm within 12 mile of Nuneaton and know the location of the garage you refer to. That could be very handy for future reference.

I have had recalls and service done at Guest West Bromwich.. I found them efficient and notOTT on price..Out of warranty I used Netherton Commercials - exceptional service and good price.

On my previous van I used Guests / main dealer for that first service at year 2. My thinking was that as the van had a 3 year cover at least there could be no come back in the final year.
Future services and a faulty DPF sensor were done by FITCH AUTO'S in Brownhills.

Previous van was on a ducato, found Grays in Warwick ok. Always did the job and were good with warranty work. They had a motorhome bay with suitable height clearance.

I am afraid that Sedge has misled you Research Fiat do indeed have a four poster and can accommodate your average motorhome. But they do not do MOT testing they use Nuneaton Peugeot for that so that's where we go now.

I've used Guests on several occasions, at both Wolverhampton and West Brom. I've always been very pleased with them. Wolverhampton is the smaller of the two and generally easier to book. I know it's used by several local motorhome dealers for Fiat related issues.

Not in the midlands I know, but I would thoroughly recommend sanders garage at Milton dameral in north west Devon. Very professional and more importantly honest garage that is a Fiat service agent plus recovery business. If ever anyone is down this way and has problems, look them up, they will always go the extra mile to help you out

Well a hearty thanks to all. Plenty of options there to refer too.
Next task is to zone in on their charges for the service required on the van 2nd anniversary.
The web offering at Guest is in excess of 500.00 which staggers me when you look at the schedule of what they do.
I shan't be grumbling at the service cost on my VW any more if that's the official dealers rates.
I will open another thread to see what the collective wisdom is on that topic.

They are Iveco and Fiat professional dealers and have been looking after my vans for over 20 years. Speak to Dave or Shane in service and they'll look after you (tell Dave Kevs says, cheer up for f****s sake)

They operate 24 hours and so you should be able to get a hotel while they do whatever you need over night

Erwin Hymer Centre/Travelworld just off J14 of the M6 are now Fiat Pro dealers. They probably - make that certainly! - won't be cheap but should be less than £500. Worth a phone call.

I would avoid at all costs. My and a friends experience of them hasn’t been great.
