Auto Roller 746
Good evening.. I have a 2021 Rollerteam Autoroller 746 based on a Fiat Ducato chassis, with a Truma heating/ventilation system. Everything appears to work ok… Except.. The first drive off after a period of a week or so stationary, water comes out of the air vents under the dinette and beside bathroom door. (Just these 2 vents and enough water to soak a tea towel)… Any ideas folks

I think next time you park it up for a week drain the boiler completely as for frost protection and see if it still happens. If not, its probably an internal leak in the boiler 😒

It could be condensation, leave it on and see if there more water, if no more water then it's most likely just condensation.

We don’t turn the heating on. This has been in the Summer. Just these movement of the van seems to slosh water out of just those two vents. I think you’re right about condensation but is this normal?

I'd also try to follow the hot air ducting from the boiler looking carefully for signs of leaks at joints or anywhere. Whatever the cause it could be leaking out and causing damp issues. Some installers even make holes in the ducts eg in an effort to keep the frost protection dump valve warm!

Is the water anywhere near the fridge? It is not unusual for water to overflow the condensate catcher at the back of the fridge when the fridge defrosts. It can then run out when the vehicle is next moved.
