Truma external gas point cover

Hi all

Apologies for asking what may seem an obvious question (spend the money and replace) but as its connected to the case I know I'll get stung for fitting.

Anyway the hinges for the cover have snapped. Has anyone had this and found a fix? A hinge retaining bolt? Anything else? Going to struggle to get it booked in anywhere and don't fancy messing with it.

Any thoughts or ideas greatly received.

My mates caravan has two screws in the cover to hold it on.

So I'm guessing he unscrews it to use it. Hadn't thought of doing that but it's an option

Yep. Not my idea but it works, possibly a bit different for a caravan that travels, then is on a site for the holiday. What about flexible sick on magnets.
