Hubby recently caught the truma heating dial with his pocket which caused it to pop off. It’s the central dial that controls the thermostat. Ranging from 1-5. We’ve managed to get it back on, however the dial doesn’t rotate the full range of numbers anymore.

Do any of the techies know if you have to line up at a certain point to get it to rotate the range as before? There is a further internal disk that is part of it too. If so could you give me guidance on where to line up the dial on the control panel. Everything actually works but the dial doesn’t turn fully. Thanks in anticipation. I’m hoping not to have to buy a new one.

I think you'd probably have to rotate the pin that the dial sits on to zero it to a high or low setting before putting the dial on to match the high or low posotion.

Turn the spigot anti clockwise till it stops and fit the stat knob on, pointing straight up ?

I will give these a go. Thank guys for you input

It's gathering dust in the garage. If you're happy to PM me your details you're welcome to it.

Jonno1103 , that is a very kind offer, very much appreciated, I don’t think that is the right one though. Ours is a truma combi 6e I think. Allows for gas, electric and mix of both for a boost. I’m laid up at mo with spinal surgery so unable to check the detail as van is in storage. Our dials are black rather than your grey one. However I thank you for the offer.

I just love this site. Jim People so willing to put themselves out to offer help.

turn it one way til it stops, pull it back off then put it back on in the right place surely?

Ah yes I see, this was in the box when I replaced the warm air blower, the Auto Trail set up isn't a combi. It'll remain gathering dust with the other bits and pieces until a Funster says they need it.

Be well Caggsie1.
