Trip computer on Fiat Ducato

Tried to re set the above today and although the mode button makes a noise it doesn't change anything, and the up and down arrows don't do anything either! Only went to do it because the clock is flashing the wrong time and getting on my nerves, now I'm worried its something costly to fix. Can anyone help please?

I had a problem that the ambient thermometer scrolled from low to high continuously. Also, the radio would show CDs were playing but no sound. Disconnected the battery for 5 minutes and reconnected it and both glitches were cleared. Thermometer now shows correct temp and CDs play.
Worth trying?

I use mode button, then up&down buttons same as you, but I also use the right hand stalk, if you use that to scroll between say journey A-B, or instant MPG,Averaged MPG, or distance travelled etc and want to zero or reset, then just hold the button in on the end of the stalk, count to 3, and it should reset to zero.
Trouble is not using the van from one end of the year to the other these days, I forget, and have to rediscover all over again.

I can zero the readings using the buttons on the stalk but I can't then re set any of the functions using the mode and up and down arrows as I can't access them. The mode button beeps but just doesn't change anything. The old settings are still working eg. the alarm when going over the speed I have set etc. Any ideas???

My Range has been stuck at 41 miles for about 2000 miles for some reason. Even MES can't change it

To change things you need the ignition turned to ACC position but the engine not going. Press the mode button and then up and down arrows to get to what you want to change then press mode again.

Going out to try this on mine now......
