Getting the van prepped for first longish trip this year. We use the shower by wetting quickly, lathering then rinsing down. We’d like to fit one of those trigger-type shower heads that I’ve seen at hair-dressers. It would make it much easier to control the amount of water needed. So far, my searches haven’t found something that will just replace the eco-camel head currently fitted.
Suggested places to look? Thanks.

I've tried a couple but gave up found the water flow on them pathetic.
That, I understand is the problem. I’m tempted to try the one in the photo but it’s hit and miss and would prefer a recommendation. Feel sure someone must have a good one!

Edit: rather unfortunate name for a bidet hose name🤣

I have one very similar and it works great, but it does depend on your water pressure,
I have a shurflo pump 20 psi and to be honest it’s a bit too powerful if you get it near your neither regions :giggle:
Soap up and rinse off at a sensible distance and it works fine,

Have a look at the 'Morelo for sale in Spain' thread, they are talking about something called an Asian Bum Gun, never seen one but it looks like a trigger shower head. who knows??

The Asians tend to wash their bottoms rather than use toilet paper - hence the name and why it's designed that way.

So it MUST work like a shower head which is what the OP was asking about????

Buy a shower head from an American rv dealer, the shower heads RV's use have a slide control on the head that shuts off the water (thus avoiding turning taps off) when you're wet, and again slide on to rinse off, then the temperature will remain the same, ours works great in our rv, and saves loads of water, image is from "Mobile RV Maintenance" online shop, Google mobile rv Maintenance

Looking at the head you won't get much water through that
So long as it’s enough to rinse, it should be fine. The purpose of getting the trigger is to conveniently limit the amount of water we use for showering. As the Whalemaster pump suggests we are getting 30psi that should be plenty water to rinse off the suds.

Thank you all for the many helpful suggestions. Plenty for me and the better half to look at. 👍

You could go to B & Q and get one of those hose guns with 6 different settings, could come in handy for washing the M/H too? :giggle:

Good idea. Do you mean to say that people wash their motorhomes?🤣

I don't, unless it's raining but I have heard ugly rumours? :giggle:
