Has anyone crossed over to France lately with pet birds? We have travelled regularly for many years with two small parrots without problems but we are concerned that with the tightening of regulations after B........ and the unfortunate (read 'ars**) attitude of some of our French neighbours that things might be a bit more complicated. Would welcome any experiences or advice.

Thanks for that. We had already done all that and spoken to customer services at the tunnel. Answer was ... we don't know, ask your vet. Checked our vet and an Avian vet too. They don't know either. Referred to Defra! In the past 20 years we have simply driven through with them and nobody has commented but we were concerned in the new atmosphere of 'hate the British' as to whether we would meet a jobsworth. We also asked in another thread just how thorough the checks have now become and have been reassured that it is pretty much as it always was apart from covid checks. Soooo....
