WANTED trangia stove (1 Viewer)

Grandson doing D of E later in year- this is something on the list; hoping for a loan fruitless as few teenagers have returned with stove intact in their area ( or maybe few returned and Beloved Daughter keeping this from me!) Horrified by price of everything nowadays, hoping fellow funster may have one languishing somewhere and able to exchange for a few pieces of silver Xx

... we do have a solid fuel type stove thing, it has fuel 'blobs', a bit like white Rowntree pastels and also a camping cookset but I don't think that would be suitable for the OP's grandson as it is an 'open' flame rather than being enclosed in a container like the Trangia spirit stoves.

We did have some but as hubby has stopped doing his buying/selling of camping bits and pieces and as we're hoping to move this year we've been selling off all his remaining kit, hence we no stoves left.

Do you need Trangia? DS and DD both used a Camping Gaz single burner one .... might be easier to get a second hand one if you have a selection to choose from . Shame we live so far away, would have been happy to lend ...

Thank you everyone- overwhelmed by offers of help . Clive I would hate to borrow an item and give it to grandson. Much as I love him dearly he is a Teenager, he has teenage pals ; they all have No Sense and even less less co-ordination. Not sure they are allowed Camping Gaz Grianan- the teachers have met them.
