few questions

1 if you tow an E car does it charge the car battery using regeneration

2 how far can you tow an E Car does it cause problems re messing up something in the electric system

3 my friend in his house uses the E Car as an extra Battery bank to store energy which then can be used to power the house if and when needed or sell back to the grid has anyone got this system on a motor home yet any any advise.

4 do you need a different that normal solar charging system to be able to use the car Battery

I have just bought this Daff LF45 box lorry to convert into off grid living

Welcome from Ciren!(y)

I don’t have an EV, but some on here do, and will be along to answer…..!

I doubt you can tow an e-car. They're all different so you would have to check. Also, the energy required to charge would cost you a fortune in fuel for the tug vehicle. Personally, I don't think its realistic

On « Long Way Up » Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boormans trip from Terra del Fuego to Los Angeles they used Electric Rivian SUVs which could be recharged by towing so the tech is there but not be widely available yet. If you haven’t seen the programme they rode Harley electric bikes.

I can see a visit to a E motorbike shop in the future might be needed
