Hi all just seeing if anyone can help me. going to a funeral on Thursday 21st at Torquay crematorium tried all the caravan sites in the area no joy due to our bus being 8.8 meters. does anyone know of any all night friendly car parks or caravan sites within 15 miles radius of torquay or any pub stop overs ect desperate to find somewhere for a few nights.

Your motorhome wouldn't go on my driveway I'm afraid :(
For a tourist area there aren't a huge number of touring sites.

There's a pub called the Horse and Hounds, on the old Newton Abbott road, think it comes under Kingkerswell. Their car parks quite a decent size.

Try Mrs Gale at 12 Oaks Farm at Teigngrace, near Newton Abbot

Broadleigh Farm near Stoke Gabriel. tel:01803 782110
I am onsite at moment, plenty of room. £14 on with electric.
I have car , so if you come onsite, give me a msg and I can pop you over to Torquay on Thursday to the Crem.

These offers are what fun is all about i reckon(y)

For Broadleigh Farm.
You turn off the Totnes Road onto Stoke road at pub Parkers Arms the road is Ok , a sharp LH turn after couple hundred yards but ok if you swing a bit wide, bit tight in couple places but loads of Mhomes use it.
Keep an eye on overhanging branches on left, After about 1 mile turn right fork on Aish Rd it is single vehicle but lots passing places and good visibility ahead. No prob. Sounds worse than it is.
I am 8m and use it loads, no problem.
Beware Satnav if coming from Totnes , it will try to turn you right at a garage halfway between Totnes and Paignton. Signed Aish. That road is bad hill and tight. Continue towards Paignton until you get in built up area, past Ocean BMW on right, then Parkers Arms Pub, turn right.
