Don’t bio tabs upset the bacteria in the cesspit……?

corrected your typo for you
We'll agree to differ then! This says it all really:

The choice is yours. There’s really not a lot of difference. Bio products have the edge – just – simply because they contain enzymes.

We mainly use Elsan organic (the green stuff) because we’ve found it works brilliantly and there is zero odour, but we also top up occasionally with the Lidl or Aldi bio capsules, which do the same job (bie).

There‘s no issue (pardon the pun) with the bio tabs/capsules and septic tanks, because the active biological ingredients only enhance the biological action going on in the septic tank.

What must never go into a septic tank is the stuff that does the complete opposite, I.e. most blue toilet liquids. These work in a completely different way by killing bugs and attempting to deodorise the resultant soup (mostly unsuccessfully). Septic tanks need the bugs munching away in order to work.

It‘s a bit like trying to make bread by mixing in all your ingredients then killing off the yeast. It just won’t work.

I assume your sub-message is 'P*ss off and stop creating another toilet thread, particularly on fluids'
