When towing the Towed is a trailer and as such is covered as a trailer by the motorhome insurance as long as the insurance company is aware you are towing something that's worth over £9K and are OK with it --then you're sound

Be aware as a trailer it's only covered for third party damage though I do believe there are some that offer other types of cover at a cost

I have the Toad and the Motorhome on the same policy but I doubt the Toad is comprehensively insured while it is being towed. The third party risks are covered as a trailer.

Depends on the value and the post code of where it is normally stored. Would be better to contact one of the NFU offices, the Brockenhurst office was very helpful 01590624744.

When we had a toad we insured with the same company (Comfort) to avoid any possible conflict if there was any incident while towing.
