Hi Ive just joined and have a question I’m hoping someone can help me with. My alarm keeps going off even when I’m inside my van. The only time it doesn’t sound when I’m inside is if the drivers door is open. Any ideas how I can fix this.?

When you say "keeps going off" do you mean that you disarm the alarm, you enter the motorhome and then the alarm triggers, unless, you enter (or open) the motorhome via the drivers door?Hi Ive just joined and have a question I’m hoping someone can help me with. Thanks I’ll try that, it’s doing my head in at the moment. On the system that we had, after you turned the alarm off, you had to open and then close one of the cab doors, to stop the Alarm resetting itself. This was because the cab doors automatically lock again if they have not been opened - give it a try

If yes, you have to live with it. Lots of dealers fit a car alarm thinking that there is no difference.
With a car, when you disarm the alarm, but don't open the drivers door (driver being in control) the alarm will automatically re-arm, so if you arm the alarm, and whilst walking away accidentally and unknowingly press the alarm button putting keys in a pocket or bag, the alarm will re-arm assuming that it was a mistake as no one has opened the drivers door.
Crap on a motorhome though when a lot of the time you are in and out of the caravan door.
It may be possible to have that feature programmed out, if you can find someone that installed TOAD alarms
