Timing belt change i3 gloebus

Hi there, anyone had problems with changing the timing belt on the gloebus i3 ( 2.3 ducato) 2008
My garage is wary of the white plastic trim and the box under neath attached to the side of the engine by the right hand wheel as regards breaking it open to get to the side of the engine and nor being able to replace it or even source it .

They usually have to remove the drivers side wheel and inner wing -- They may worried if its non standard
