Thule omnistor 8000 tension rafter fittings

I have a Thule g2 safari residence that I never fitted on the burstner, I now have the RS with a omnistor 8000 awning, I understand the fitting height may be different but would like to know if the tension rafter fittings are compatible, trying to see the parts list pics is very difficult.
I tried a section up and couldn’t really see how they locked together, first pick is the item on the awning

The second is on the rafter arm, it needs a bit glued in but hopefully you get the gist

Any ideas if these parts are correct together

exactly the same as ours, looks incompatible, but when offered up and awning pulled back in to tension they get a good fit
