Any suggestions for three days away this weekend.

Within an hour or so of Cheltenham.

Prefer somewhere with a bit of a view and walks.

Prefer not to be on a full on-site due to me being antisocial 😂

CL or similar would be ok.

Thanks

Avonbank Meadows Wyre Piddle near Pershore, a small CL with a Funster favourite rally field, right on the banks of the river Avon, and a nice riverside walk into the town with nice high street and Abbey. Lovely owners and some great walks.

You need to be in the Motorhome & Caravan club to use the CL

Just mention you are a Funster member, or a relative to Derek, AKA Emmit, that should do the trick.;)

Yes Avonbank is nice but we’ve been there, prefer a spot we haven’t tried 😊.

Would be happy to travel 2 hours and maybe on the coast.

Possibly a pub stop who knows.
Just looking for inspiration 👍😊

Just back from 3days at Skysea holiday park in Port Eynon ,Gower peninsula,Swansea probably on your 2hour limit but terrific. we were about 20 ft from the sea ,historic ruins 100ft, beach fish &chips (2)1000ft , pubs (2)1500ft ,dog friendly beach(2/3)all year round,Welsh costal path runs through site😀

I tend not to do big sites.

What sort of money was the site and importantly was it heaving 😊

Thanks

This is just outside Newbury. Lovely walks and a great pub in the village of Ecchinswell. We stayed on the site for four months in our caravan in between house moves so can vouch it’s good. Andy the owner is lovely.

Greenham Common with its control tower is within walking distance and there’s a nice cafe (Honesty at the Base) on the industrial park which is very nice. Bus runs into Newbury and there’s a bus to Basingstoke.

Anywhere on the Cotswolds - literally on your doorstep.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Re the Cotswolds I look around our area as being a day out in the car 😊

Filey brigg north yorkshire
