To anyone thinking of buying a Lithium (LiFePO4) Leisure battery - I have it on good authority (direct from Eco Worthy) that you might want to look at their prices tomorrow.

Current lowest price for a 280Ah unit is on Amazon at £417.99 (comes up at £447.99 but you can add a £30 discount voucher by ticking a box).

I emailed Eco Worth through Ebay as I missed a recent deal there at £409.99. They promptly replied and said:

"Regarding your inquiry, we do have a special offer coming up tomorrow that will feature our lowest price ever, so please do check back tomorrow for the best deal. We are sure you will love the discount."

So it looks like they might be going lower than £409.99 tomorrow for a limited time - Don't know how much lower or through which retailer though.

I have seen a physical tear down of an Eco Worthy lithium battery and the components and BMS they use are virtually identical to Fogstar Drift, plus they do get good independent reviews, so I think I will be taking the plunge tomorrow, if the deal is good enough.

Worth noting that other components are required to support the install of a lithium battery into almost all MH's, so if you aren't sure what you are doing, let a professional do it (but the battery is the largest outlay in that, so get a good deal if you want one and let someone else install it).

I have two almost new 100AH lithiums for sale if interested. They were supplied by wildax and have been used for a year but the van has mostly been on hookup

As CueBall predicted, Ecoworthy have a sale on starting today.

100aH Ecoworthy lithium batteries are down to £165 at the moment for Prime members on Amazon.

My original three and a half year old 72aH Banner lead acid battery is starting to lose capacity, so I'm tempted at that price.

Anyone know of any better offers as we come into Black Friday week?

I just had a look at the many (9% of 240) one star reviews. Customer service is alleged to be 'Absolutely shocking'!

Good point. Although buying through Amazon (and using a credit card) would give sufficient peace of mind regarding non-arrival or dead-on-arrival.

"DC House" branded lithiums are a couple of quid dearer at £167 to Amazon Prime members at the moment too. These appear well reviewed, plus a positive teardown and capacity-check video on YouTube.

That’s not necessarily true. All I have ever used is a decent B2B and then turn the on board charger off.
