Thetford Ventilator Kit - which wires to use to splice in?

Hi All,

I need a little bit of help with the final splicing in of the live and earth on my Thetford Fridge Ventilator Kit. I have installed everything else but am unsure which wires to splice into and there seems to be contradiction between the instructions and a video on the internet (which I followed for everything else). Here is a picture of my block and what I Would like to know from someone who has one fitted is which wires to cut into.

Why not just unplug the connector and put your meter on it to find the 12v+ and -? If there's no negative in there then just use a chassis earth.

I have just managed to find a wiring diagram (below). I’m no electrician but can you tell from this which two to use?

I was think purple live and black earth?
