We've had our Nuevo for about three months. The gas hob sparker didn't work, so we've just been using a hand held gas lighter.
The dealer we bought it from is atrocious, so I'm investigating it myself. I've taken the hob unit out and the electrode sparker cables were coiled up and tucked under a gas pipe out of the way. I've opened them out for this picture.
I then took the oven out and the sparker unit on the oven doesn't have any spare spade connectors.
There are only two connections on it and they feed the oven and the grill inside the oven.
I'm wondering if there should be a separate sparker unit for the hob or if the oven has been replaced and the new oven has a sparker unit that doesn't have the capacity for the hob.
If anyone can tell me how the hob should be connected so the electrode sparker system works, I'd very much appreciate it.
Cheers,
Al
