Thetford 3000 series fridge

Andy with a question
My Thetford fridge won’t work on 12v in fact never worked on 12v even from new
Checked all the wiring and fuses it lights up just won’t start then goes to red on the button
Any help much appreciated

Hi Andy,
Often, the fridge will only work on 12V when the engine is running - have you tried that?

It doesn't actually work on 12V it only maintains the temperature and then only when the engine is running.
You need gas or 230Volts to make the fridge work /run/cold
