Hi all ,looking getting one of these grills anyone got any thoughts which is the best ,also would it be better to get a lower wattage one or the 2000 w, as i don't want to keep tripping the leccy, use mostly club sites .Thanks

Hi we've got a single induction hob for when we are on HU, fully adjustable and max is 1600w. Works brilliant, we use it in the event shelter if we are away with friends or just on the table in the van normally.

Got one from Aldi or Liddle a few years ago, superb! Takes up very little room and gets used to cook many things mostly in the awning so as not to make the 'van smell of cooking.

We have one at home and one in the motorohme , when away we use it most days for grilling meat and vegatables ,so easy to use

We have had 2, first died after 7 years one now is at stepsons along with our single burner stov while they wait for a new hob to be fitted.

Hi Scotzsue do you remember what make it was if it lasted that long it must of been a good one.

We have one from lidl, with a 3 year warranty too. We have had it for about 5 years +.
Never blown electric. We use it to cook outside too. Great piece of kit.

It was but we couldn't get another can only thibk they went out of business or name got changed, our second isn't quite so good think it is an Andrew James one but box is also with stepson.

Another vote for the Lidl one. Have had ours now for a few years.

We've had a couple of these. First one from charity shop in Javea. The best ones are the round ones with a bit of depth to them. Some people call them electric pizza ovens. Present one from Andrew James. I thought it was too big at first but I'm able to cook chips in it, and veg. Wrap these up in tin foil and leave tucked away inside it and then cook my meat or fish. Only blown once on a 6 amp site when wife put kettle on as well. Been using these for five years now, one of the best buys. Also when you've finished cooking throw some water on it and leave it bubbling while you eat your meal. Virtually cleans itself.
