I was wondering if any of you tech minded guys (or gals) could help me with my Teleco Telesat satellite system.

We bought our first motorhome last month, very pleased with it, but the satellite system was not locking onto the satellites, it kept spinning and only locked onto Astra 19. After a bit of research I found out that Teleco we're offering firmware updates for their systems. I downloaded the Telesat firmware and proceeded to update.

My laptop connected fine with the black box and after a few minutes the firmware was updated successfully, it then went on to update the database in which it failed! I tried the procedure again, but it just came up with the same problem.

I took the black box and controller to a local specialist who services and repairs Teleco systems, he called me to ask for the serial number off the satellite dish as there was not one on the black box. After climbing the roof of the mh to find it, I found that there was no serial number on there either! I'm pretty much going round in circles as the importers are not being very helpful.

I just need a serial number from a 2011 Teleco Telesat dish or black box for my guy to re flash the box.

Failing that, I'm not sure what the other alternate is. It's an expensive lump of plastic and metal to carry around that doesn't do anything!

Hopefully some kind soul here may be able to help?

Steve.

I thought the firmware had a copy of the serial number in, accessible from the tv screen. Buried in the settings menu

I'd have no way of accessing this information now as the firmware update was half way through the process and failed on the database update resulting in er5 on the control panel.

Hello, I know this doesn't help you but I have a 1999 built Ducati with it's original sat receiver that won't find a channel. Any advice or contacts I would be grateful for..good luck
