I want to put a 24" cello t.v in our bailey autograph 79-4t bedroom which has the necessary points on the wardrobe wall. The bracket in the living area is an SV8. My question is - would I need some sort of plate inside the wardrobe that the bracket would bolt through to spread the load or is the wall solid enough to just screw into? Thanks

I would be inclined to fit a plate on the opposite side as the walls usually very weak with polystyrene filling screws will pull out easily😊

Thats what I thought. Best check with warranties first I suppose..or - sorry sir you've invalidated your warranty as you compromised the integrity of the structure leading to potential catastrophic failure causing coat hangers to fall off the rail leaving nasty creases in your t-shirts.

I would use a spreader plate on the same side as the bracket fixed with 3M ds tape. No holes.
