Just looking at the sworn undertaking form for entering France and I noticed alongside the date and sigature there is a space that says done in and then a gap and then the date. Anyone know what Done in refers to?

We put our town and country. No problems experienced.

I was going to write done in black pen on mine  I just kept it blank, didn’t get queried.

Put UK on ours, I believe it's for their records to actually document the place you entered France from.

Normally, if you live in France, you'd put the nearest town name to where you signed it. However, as people have said, you can also put UK, England, Derbyshire etc. Hope this helps :)

We had ours with us when we went over a few weeks ago but nobody looked at them at any of the customs. Passport and dogs ahc was all that was physically checked.
Better to have them with you just in case.
