Hi,
Would anyone happen to know, or had experience with trying to establish the whereabouts of power source please?
I've tried contacting Swift, but no reply...so can anyone help with the following please:
  • Power source/fuse location; it's not by the battery, (reverse lights are working) nothing labelled or looks as if it's been added to the vehicle fuse board.
  • the cabling route to find the box the camera video cameras connect to.
  • Swift technical number/contact?
  • know any Ex-Bessacarr staff who installed these camera sets?
Much appreciate any leads..
Thank you.
Keith.

My 2012 Bessacarr E480G had a fuse inside the box by the steering wheel. I only know because when new the camera stopped working the dealers electrician replaced the blown fuse.

Have a look at www.sargentltd.co.uk , in their support / help centre / knowledge base section there is information regarding the Sargent electrical systems fitted to Swift Motorhomes 2013 ( and other years ) including an EM5.6 reversing camera interface module with a 12v supply connection.
I used to have an earlier Swift Bessacarr which had a camera interface which was fitted under the dash top glove box , maybe if you have one yours is also there.
