Decided to fit a new mains charger after fitting two 100amp AGM's, before deciding on the charger I looked at the practicalities. No point in buying the charger and then finding it was going to be a nightmare to fit. The site for the charger was obvious, next to the batteries it was just a question of getting 230v to there from the ehu. The batteries are under the double passenger seat behind the driver and the ehu is under the french bed on the same side, but there's a shower cubicle in the way. Eventually after a lot of head scratching, removing panels and bodily contortions I found a route at the back of the shower and was able with alot of fudging and swearing to poke the top off some cable conduit across, tape some cable on to that and bingo two 3 core cables, the other core is for a possible inverter in the future. The charger I bought was the Victron Blue Smart IP22 12v 15amp.

Under the seat the pipe is the water tank filler

Crap picture but I took it one handed while hanging over the boiler. The cables come out with the others

Finished, I may move it next the socket on the shower wall if I get an inverter, so the inverter can sit there.
